Step Up to Quality

Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five–star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children

Brown County Quality Child Care Partnership

COAD, in partnership with United Way of Greater Cincinnati is providing enhanced training and technical assistance services to child care programs in Brown County. The goal is to help programs attain a rating in Ohio’s Step Up To Quality voluntary quality rating system for child care centers. Since 2008 COAD has provided services to Brown county providers to help them attain their center’s goal for quality ratings.
